Begin with both cars turned off, with the batteries as close as possible without the cars touching.
Put the red on dead car + (Always do this first) Be careful not to touch the other end to anything.
Put the red on the donor car +
Put the black on the donor car -
Put the black on bare metal of the dead cars engine. (Like a bolt head or bracket)
Start the donor car, let it run for five minutes.
Start the dead car, let it run for about 15 seconds.
Remove the leads in the reverse order you put them on. Take care not to touch anything.
When the car starts, keep it running for at least fifteen minutes.
