Registering your car in NSW

Did you know registering your car in NSW is a simple three-step process?

Step 1 – Pink Slip (eSafety Check)If your vehicle is more than 5 years old, you’ll need a Pink Slip inspection to confirm it’s roadworthy.

Step 2 – CTP Green Slip InsuranceBefore renewing your registration, you’ll need Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance.

Step 3 – Renew Your RegistrationOnce your Pink Slip has been completed and your Green Slip is in place, you can renew your registration with Service NSW.
