UNDERSTANDING DASHBOARD LIGHT COLOURS.

Writer: northmanlytyresnorthmanlytyres

The easiest way to remember is to think of it like traffic lights.

RED = DANGER/STOP

If a red warning light appears, you should STOP driving immediately and identify the issue.

AMBER = CAUTION

If an amber warning light comes on, you can continue using the vehicle with caution, but the issue should be closely monitered. If it is ignored it may develop into a major problem

GREEN or BLUE = GO

Green or blue lights are often not there as a warning but instead to indicate that something is on or operating. For example - your headlights are on.
